The Cockroach Janta Party has to be satire and anyone rooting for an IRL launch must be a clown.

In the aftermath, the rebel villagers paid the ultimate price. Hung in public view and all assets confiscated.

Dunlop records the rebellion of the Rajputs of Dhaulana, and how they were opposed by the Rajputs of Shaulana, revealing internal fault lines within the community. It's well known that many Rajputs ultimately joined the rebels inside the Red Fort in support of Shah Mal.

Not surprising, many rebels in the North Western Provinces came from villages of descendants of Prithvi Raj's amry. Satha‑Chaurasi villages of Guhilots/Sisodia & Tomars were led by Govind Rao, a general in his army. The region is featured in many 1857‑era British accounts🧵contd

The memory of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan was so cherished by Hindustanis that more than 665 years after his death, when the rebel troops of the 1857 freedom struggle marched on to The Red Fort to resist British imperialism, their slogan was : “ 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐯𝐢 𝐑𝐚𝐣 𝐊𝐢 𝐉𝐚𝐢 ”.

@skjsaurabh @samirks_7 Do try this portal. I've had a fairly positive experience with them in a matter related to my mother's widow pension. Best wishes.

My mamaji is on ventilator. He had all his life’s savings within PSU bank in FDs. All his accounts have been sealed as due to being bed ridden he could not do re-KYC in person. His kids asked bank to take humane view. Bank said if he cannot come in person, accounts will not open. FDs in PSU banks can be useless in time of need due to KYC regulations. @narendramodi @RBI this KYC mess is draconian. Please help in this time of need

Never take Twitter influencers seriously. Most of their "influence" is driven by fake phone-verified-accounts (PVAs), agenda driven algorithm manipulation, and mass distributed content toolkits. Nothing is organic. Your feed is a facade.

For me, Aam Aadmi Party was never just a political party, it was a movement. A belief that we could cleanse the rot in our country’s politics and build something honest. But somewhere along the way, wrong decisions, inflated egos, and overconfidence at the top pushed away some of the very people who built it. Bharatiya Janata Party did everything in its power to weaken AAP, yet its real strength was always its selfless volunteers, thousands who sacrificed careers, stability, even their families’ futures… only to be treated as expendable. Many of us chose silence and stepped away. Because deep down we wanted AAP to survive, to rise again, to return to the ideals that once united us. Every fall still hurts. There are tears… and yet, there is hope, hope that the party will rediscover the principles with which this journey began. As for Raghav Chadha +6, Good luck to them, may they find peace and purpose wherever they go. Time has a way of revealing truths. Perhaps one day, they too will realise what they were part of… and what they chose to leave behind.

History Of Rajputana
History Of Rajputana@KshatriyaItihas·
False! The claim that Rajput nobles and royals “did not fight” in 1857 is simply false. From Amarkot’s Rana Ratan Singh Sodha to Kharwa’s Rao Gopal Singh, Auwa’s Thakur Kushal Singh, and Gular’s Thakur Bishan Singh, along with the Thakurs and Jagirdars of Ashop, Bhimaliya, Redawas, Lambiya, and the chiefs of Mewar like Roopnagar, Lasani, Salumber, and Asind took up arms against the British in 1857. But there’s no denying the broader truth: the backbone of the uprising was driven by the Kshatriyas of Awadh, Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, and Bihar. Who didn’t just participate but led, mobilized, and sustained the rebellion across vast regions and paid for it brutally-- through executions, confiscations, and the systematic dismantling of their power. Most Rajputana states didn’t sign treaties with the British out of convenience, they were pushed into them after relentless Maratha incursions that destabilized the region for decades. To ignore their resistance isn’t just inaccurate, it erases a documented legacy of defiance and sacrifice.
Ceteris Paribus@entropied2223

Most of Rajputana kingdoms had alliance treaties with the British after fall of Marathas and all of them were loyal to British even during 1857 revolt. Story was different in Gangetic plains where Rajputs fought against British
