Today, we are building more than 270,000 affordable housing units in over 200 sites nationwide. These projects have created over 640,000 jobs, expanded access to home ownership, restored dignity by addressing informal settlements, and curbed land fragmentation to protect agricultural land.

During an interactive session at the second African Urban Forum, Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Nairobi. The event brought together representatives from over 40 countries at ministerial level. On the sidelines of the event, we will be showcasing some of our affordable housing projects in Nairobi County. Unlike in the past when we used to showcase the Kibera informal settlements, once the largest informal settlement in the region, which is now on course to be eradicated.

I met Gengetone and Urbantone artistes, who shared deeply troubling experiences regarding the loss of rights to their music due to questionable contracts with foreign entities. They have lost over 700 songs, including 'Sipangwingwi', the song by Exray that powered our conversations in 2022. It is regrettable that our young creatives continue to face exploitation despite their immense talent and contribution to our cultural identity. I have facilitated legal support to ensure they are adequately represented in court, and we have agreed on practical measures to safeguard their interests and ensure they receive fair reward for their work. I have also asked the National Assembly, through the Majority Leader, to fast-track the Creative Economy Bill 2026 alongside critical copyright reforms. These measures are necessary to protect our artistes, strengthen intellectual property rights, and secure the future of Kenya’s creative economy. I also informed them that Government has established a digital portal on e-Citizen to aid royalty collection and distribution.

KAANWA, CHUKA IGAMBANG'OMBE CONSTITUENCY, THARAKA NITHI COUNTY, KENYA WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1, 2026 412 Kilometers of roads to cost 21 billion shillings, the Nithi Bridge to cost 7 billion shillings, and rural electrification projects costing 1 billion shillings are some of the ongoing projects being undertaken by the National Government in Tharaka Nithi County. Affordable Housing, fresh produce markets and student accommodation projects cumulatively costing 7 billion shillings are underway across the County. Tharaka Nithi is on the top 5 Counties in registration for Taifa Care the Universal Health Care Programme which the Government is rolling out to cushion the people of Kenya from catastrophic health care costs that has seen many households sell family as seats or result to social fundraisers to foot medical bills. 70% of the residents of Tharaka Nithi County have enrolled into the programme which has now onboarded 30.2 million Kenyans compared to the 7 million people registered under the defunct NHIF. After inspecting some of the ongoing projects being undertaken in Chuka Igamba Ng'ombe Constituency, held a public sensitization event at Kaanwa Trading Centre to update area residents on various projects and programmes for benefit of the local community. KANWA, CHUKA IGAMBANG'OMBE CONSTITUENCY, THARAKA NITHI COUNTY, KENYA WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1, 2026 The Kaanwa- Mwanjate- Kamutiiria ring road in Chuka Igambang'ombe Constituency is being tarmacked to improve connectivity and ease the movement of goods and people in the area to stimulate economic growth. In total, the Government is undertaking road construction projects valued at 21 billion shillings to build 400 kilometers of new rural roads in Tharaka Nithi County, and an additional 7 billion shillings has been released to build a new ultra modern 900 meter Nithi Bridge, set to commence as soon as the ongoing land acquisition process is completed. With Tharaka Nithi County Governor Muthomi Njuki, Chuka Igambang'ombe MP Patrick Munene, Tharaka Nithi Speaker John Mbabu, MCAs and residents.

Clarification regarding polling center elections in Bomet County.

I have lived a life of integrity and I challenge Rigathi Gachagua to point to any moment in my life when I have been accused of the very misconduct he now faces. I can account, without hesitation, for my entire journey in public service. From Assistant Minister, to Backbencher, to Leader of Majority and through my stewardship in the Ministries of Defence, Environment and now Health. I am not cut from the same cloth, certainly not one associated with the disinheritance of widows and orphans.

We are empowering our members in Ekerenyo Ward, North Mugirango Constituency, Nyamira County, with all necessary information on the Party's election procedures ahead of Repeat Phase II Grassroots Elections scheduled for 9th April 2026. North Mugirango MP, Hon. Joash Nyamoko, together with members of the Party's Secretariat, Lameck Ongwae, undertook a training exercise on the UDA Grassroots Elections Guide.

Nyansiongo Ward in Borabu Constituency, Nyamira County, was not left behind in the ongoing sensitization exercise ahead of the Repeat Phase II Grassroots Elections scheduled for 9th April 2026. Led by Nyamira County Woman Representative, Hon. Jerusha Momanyi, Party members were training on the Party's internal elections procedures.

The KSh 104 billion tied to the consortium is not part of the government budget and is not funded by taxpayers. It relates to the Health Integrated Digital System, which runs 38 digital services. These services attract regulated user fees, as approved by Parliament under the Digital Health Agency framework. In simple terms, the KSh 104 billion is the total projected service fee over the next 10 years. Not a lump-sum government payment. It operates more like a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), where payment is spread over time based on services delivered.

We are building the party from the ground up, ensuring that the party's foundation is rooted in inclusive development under the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
