people wanting to get into ffxiv by skipping to the newest expac really vindicates the idea that lots of people don’t get into games to experience them anymore, they do it to be part of the conversation and whatever lets them join that conversation the fastest takes priority

One of his best pieces. Cannot overstate how immaculate Soken’s suite of compositions are. When you zoom out to see how many amazing songs he has made it makes you dizzy. And Keiko is a genius arranger. She’s a gem of a musician.

The plots of Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 both focus on objects in the protagonist's brain that are overwriting their personalities, but Cyberpunk is more fun about it because sometimes the object takes over and gets into a drunk driving accident with a stripper.
