My job was to stay awake, to keep watch and warn the other villagers if we were attacked; I failed when the moon was full and woke up to half screams and gurgled whimpers. The werewolves had slaughtered my family and everyone else; now they were snarling at me. #horror #writer

My wife was a teacher at the village school, before it was rebuilt after the horrible fire. She teaches there still, it's just that only I can see and hear her; I work there now, just to stay close to her. #horror #writer #writingcommunity
