
spend a gazillion dollars but tunnel the gardiner underground. billions of dollars of untapped economic value lies dormant on the toronto waterfront because of the messy eyesore that the gardiner is. cuts the waterfront off from the rest of downtown.

I feel like Toronto and Chicago are sister cities but Toronto has not invested in our waterfront the same way at all like sometimes I forget we are a lakefront city. We could have so many parks, green spaces, trails and activities but it feels inaccessible?
