China has bet heavily on licensed 6 GHz and tried to make IMT an agenda item in 2027. Taking different paths and will be a critical issue in the coming years and both countries try to harmonize their approaches globally. #askaeitech

China tried to add a footnote in 6 GHz for IMT (basically 5G) in China but it failed, though region 3 (primarily Asia) did get an IMT allocation for potions of upper 6. #askaeitech
