@ShinkyJRPGs I absolutely agree! Arise has been THE defining JRPG of the decade for me, and it's so disheartening to see people hate on it with such passion and distaste. It's clear to me that they have never found something to appreciate with their full hearts and that's just kind of sad!

@MaagicMushies (this isn't really related) A long time ago I somehow ended up as the pianist for my middle school jazz band. Of course I didn't practice so when a concert came I was like "oh shit" so I think half the song was just me doing random transpositions of the actual chords.

jazz is constantly characterized as this stuffy genre meant purely for intellectuals who sit in a chair and nod while patting themselves on the back for understanding all the theory but jazz started as dance music. it still is largely just dance music.

May just be because I was in arts, but do people not have enjoyment in saying “this is my work that came from my brain?”
Also it’s proven that using AI for critical and creative thinking makes you worse at it when AI use is removed. People shouldn’t let themselves get stupider.

Let’s be honest. All these people upset about college students using AI are just jealous they didn’t have it when they were in college. They just want them to suffer like they did. It’s an old story: “Well if I suffered, they should too.” It’s also a morally repugnant position.
