Hi everyone, We had a conversation with @Chickenman400 (BBB) about his conduct during the last Cashbox event to clarify the situation. A mutual understanding was met, and he accepted the terms we would lay out. These events are funded by us, for us. The point of the tournament series is to lift up players in both communities and provide a platform for people looking to carve a name out for themselves, but also to ensure there is respect among the competitors. Due to Unsportsmanlike Conduct, Bobby will be temporarily banned from Cashbox events for two (2) months. He has promised to not behave in a similar fashion for future events, and has also apologized to his co-competitor.

@OGAdoptedFatty @PeriodicalMusic @isathehunter yeah, mono audio can still sound perfectly fine. If you're hearing impaired to the point you can't rely on hearing for directionality and need visual cues, I don't see how it could be a problem.

But I'd get in trouble whether I drove or walked to work, because the issue is being drunk. However, being drunk at a melee tournament is allowed and a common occurrence. DUIs are still personal

It's a personal issue and has nothing to do with tournaments. You wouldn't get fired from your job if you had a DUI, but he should be banned because he took a sip?

@LoneHillJazz @LiquidHbox @Chickenman400 To be clear, I think Mang0's ban was the correct action. If anything, I would criticize it as too short. I simply think BBB's drunk driving should be handled similarly.

@LoneHillJazz @deluxebows @UrSoBadL @LiquidHbox @Chickenman400 The difference is we've seen him drink alcohol behind the wheel of the car. Yes it was one sip and a 3 minute drive, but if you need to pop your bottle and take a sip before a 3 minute drive chances are you drink a lot.
