@BruinsLow Sacco said the other day he liked McAvoy bringing the puck in on the PP. First PP shift was terrible. McAvoy couldn’t get the puck in. He’s awful for the PP but then he scores 5vs3 so we’ll continue to be stuck with him.

Thats a really nice, calm approach to the 5v3. Not sure they beat the first penalty expiring but still worth.

@LoganSwallow @BruinsLow Strikes me as odd that the Bruins record without McAvoy the last 3 years is 21-5-3. Terrible power play point man. Misses the net endlessly. Gives the puck away. Makes mistakes at the worst times. I’d like to get Elias Petterson but if that’s not doable JT + makes us better.

@JeffGDFBennett @BruinsLow It's pretty known thru the league that he's a locker room cancer and even if we did trade for him no way it would take mcavoy to bring him in. Mcavoy is a franchise defensemen who's been dealing with an injury. They aren't even close to being of the same trade value

@LoganSwallow @BruinsLow That’s not known. Teams are clambering to pick him up. Petterson might be a better pick up but the salaries don’t line up. We can get an extra D-man thrown in with JT. I thought McAvoy was a franchise D-man too until I watched him play 100 times. He hurts our power play.

@BruinsLow Bruins stars have the worst hands of any team in the league. Marchand leads the way. He should change his stick. No one whiffs on more passes, misses more chances and has more trouble controlling the puck than Marchand. Zacha and McAvoy not much better.

@BruinsLow Sacco could make strides just by saying…if you miss the net you’re sitting for 10 minutes. They only missed the net 3 times that period but it still drives me nuts. Zacha needs it driven home more than anyone. Missed nets bounce off the boards and create chances the other way.
