People are right to be angry about open borders - just don’t fall into Starmer’s trap #Belfast #JimAllister #TUV

@Tirghrathoir Seriously, we have an individual who is fighting for his life and you are trying to point score. Really concerning……..

Patriots - if you are protesting tonight, in Belfast or elsewhere, do NOT give Starmer what he wants. Stay calm. Keep your heads. Do NOT attack the police. The state will show you no mercy. The dangerous ‘far-right’ will be blamed, and your life will be ruined forever. It will be that brutal. However angry you are feeling now, it is not worth it. Protest - but do it loudly, do it peacefully. If the police are being aggressive, record it. Film it. Do not react. Because you will not be shown the same leniency as the officers. You will be charged, you will be sentenced, you will be imprisoned. We’re all angry. But you will achieve far more for our cause and country OUTSIDE of prison.

My thoughts this morning are with the victim of last night's horrific attack in North Belfast, and with their family, the brave people who disarmed the attacker and the PSNI who attended and will now investigate. There can be no place for such violence in our community. >

If people choose to protest later, I hope it’s done peacefully. Violence will only take attention away from the real issue and give others an excuse to shift the blame.

@Newrygal1 @JordanMoff1995 If they had their way violent refugees wouldn’t be here murdering and raping people. But we got your way, and now they are. You own this. Every woman raped by a migrant and every person murdered by one is a result of YOUR politics, not his. Own it.

@Gm2ydl @Newrygal1 Shocking isn't it. A serious incident happened against a citizen of our shared country and this woman wanting to politically point score. Not surprised.

@Newrygal1 @JordanMoff1995 There you have it…Palestine over a local in a Catholic area nearly beheaded. Point scoring. You’re just as bad as the red necks. Left wing, woke snowflakes who’d see her own community destroyed rather than calling out a migrant who tried to decapitate an Irishman. Wow

@Newrygal1 The real division in Northern Ireland comes from people constantly trying to silence anyone who disagrees with a particular narrative. You’re entitled to your opinion, but shouting down everyone who disagrees isn’t tolerance, it’s just more division.

@JordanMoff1995 Anyone opposing an anti genocide march is quite clearly on the wrong side of history I stand by that. Your party caused extreme division by their comments about those marching against genocide and continue to cause division around the irish language. Lad seriously sit down

@Newrygal1 The comment you made two days ago was disappointing. Referring to people as being on the “wrong side of history” does little to encourage constructive dialogue. We need people willing to work together for the development and future of Northern Ireland, not further division.

@JordanMoff1995 Il take no lectures from TUV who sat and stoked the flames of bigotry last week regarding an anti genocide march. The vile things said about the nationalist community and the blatant lies told.

The attempted beheading attack in Belfast was absolutely shocking. What’s equally disappointing is seeing political point-scoring in the aftermath, with Nationalist and Unionist politicians trading criticism. LETS WORK TOGETHER AND DEPORT THESE UNWANTED THUGS!!

Once again, the DUP have marched people to the top of the hill, inflamed tensions locally, and then refused to condemn the consequences of their rhetoric. The people of Scarva deserve better from their political representatives. @EoinTennyson
