@Liathetrader @xaigorgo Did you convert to a conventional mortgage? This is what I’m contemplating right now (SBL as a bridge until hopefully rates drop into the 5s on a 30 year…)

@xaigorgo And now comes the tax. What I would do, I keep the money in the brokerage account invested in stocks, and take a loan on those stocks to buy a house. Did it in 2024. No tax to pay.

$1,035,904.08 in the bank. The transactions finished settling today. ❌Not on a chart. ❌Not in a brokerage account. ❌Not as unrealized gains. ❌Not as screenshots on X. ✅In the bank. A lot of investors get obsessed with being right. I get obsessed with getting paid. You never actually make the money until you cash it out. The Greek Portfolio started with $369,763 on January 11, 2024. Today it's over. Every position sold. Every gain realized. The final score is $1,035,904.08. Because at some point, the goal isn't to die with the highest portfolio balance. Mission accomplished. 🇬🇷💰 $CLSK $MSTR $MARA $HOOD $KEEL $CIFR $BITX $WGMI $RIOT $WULF $ASST $BMNR $IREN

🟢House in Greece 🇬🇷🇪🇸 Final Update🟢 Mission accomplished!! Today I officially cashed out 100% of the Greek Portfolio after reaching and exceeding the $1M goal, finishing at $1,035,238.20. When I started this portfolio on January 11, 2024, the total investment was $369,763. Over the life of the portfolio, it generated $665,475.20 in gains, for a total return of almost 180%. For the first time ever, I put a portfolio out there publicly and shared it with complete transparency. Almost every day I posted the dashboard, the wins, the mistakes, the profits, the losses, the emotions, and the thought process behind every decision. The stocks that got us here were: $CLSK $MSTR $MARA $HOOD $KEEL $CIFR $BITX $WGMI $RIOT $WULF $ASST $BMNR $IREN Many of them made me a lot of money. A few reminded me that the market is always ready to humble you. The final sales today were: $MSTR up about 200%, for $16,544.23 $CLSK up about 109%, for $55,528.25 $MARA at a 46% loss for $78,311.49 $CIFR up over 700%, for $51,080.00 $ASST at a 46% loss for $16,287.39 $BMNR at a 63% loss for $9,275.15 $IREN, up 749%, for $23,439.50 Why cash out now? ▶️Bitcoin continues to show weakness and it's hard to know where it goes from here. ▶️The market has had an incredible run and may be due for a pause. ▶️I already hit the goal. Why risk it? ▶️I have losses in $BMNR, $MARA and $ASST that can be used for tax loss harvesting. Most importantly, I achieved what I set out to do. Thank you to everyone who followed along, commented, challenged my ideas, celebrated the wins, and stuck around during the drawdowns. The support made this journey a lot more fun. I'll post screenshots of the bank accounts once all the transfers settle over the next week. As for what's next, I’ll be resuming the house hunt after the summer. Or maybe I won't buy a house at all and will just travel the world for a while. We'll see. One chapter closes. Another begins. If you've enjoyed following the Greek Portfolio, come join me for the next adventure: Road to 7. 🚀 Account Balance: $1,035,238.2 ⬆️ % Achieved Towards Goal: 104%⬆️ Mood: 🥳🤑😀 For those who don't know what this is about, check out this post: x.com/xaigorgo/statu…

@thomasrp93 I think you’re VASTLY underestimating AJ’s importance to the team even last year, when he still commanded extra attention despite a down year (due to his QB). Better hope the run gm is back bc it’s going to be tough sledding in the pass game for a while.

Eagles will miss the dominant AJ that was key in winning a ring. However, last year the Eagles were forcing the ball to a guy who didn't care and mentally was already gone. Its fair to expect the offense will improve a lot this year, especially with AJ gone. #Eagles

@BigBlueVCR Hurts is the most insignificant factor in that run. I think people in Phi are underestimating Brown's important to the offense, but it all goes through the OL - > run game -> D in Philly. The passer is just a manager

I could see the Eagles go 11-6 or 6-11 this year. Neither would surprise me. They are going to try to make one more run with Hurts, Saquon, Johnson, etc. But if the wheels come off, they will come flying off like it did Dallas in 1997 when their dynasty died. Crash and burn.

@ThisIsNotZain He was a terrible coach, but I still think McAdoo was worse. The guy was the most overrated OC in team history, pumping empty calorie stats vs weak teams, getting pwned vs good, & ONLY won in '16 bc of Spags D. His O was terrible. '17 the wheels came off. He was HORRENDOUS.

@NSCapparel @NYGiants_Talk Not quite. Rich Seubert suffered a career ending injury in the '10 season finale, and O'Hara retired. The other guys aged but that hole in the interior was a real sore spot in the championship year. 2012 was another bad OL too, and the bottom fell out in '13 due to age & injury

@NYGInsight @NYGiants_Talk it was largely the same group as 2010. not sure what happened in 11. but they rebounded and had a pretty solid year in 2012

The Francis Mauigoa signing has me thinking… Serious question: is this the best Giants offensive line since the 2011 Superbowl run?

@Gridiron_Media_ He has 20 sack/season potential. You don’t trade GREAT talent, and a seemingly good dude.

@harryjsisson LMAO. Hurts is a good dude, no doubt, but he’s already not a better QB and Dart will lap him as the talent around him gets better.

@thomasrp93 lol. Remember when the Iggles D was hot garbage in ‘23 & then became #1 under Fangio? Very likely Schoen’s early picks didn’t develop due to poor coaching. That’s no longer the case. Schoen has also been good at trading, extracting value in nearly all deals.

This ensures Giants will continue being a dysfunctional franchise for years to come. Also Harbough didn't sound very optimistic about Nabers' knee recovery. Terrible days for Giants fans.
Ian Rapoport@RapSheet

The #Giants and GM Joe Schoen have agreed to terms on a multi-year extension to keep him working with John Harbaugh for years to come, per me and @MikeGarafolo. After a successful offseason, including the work during the NFL Draft, Schoen is rewarded with a new deal.

@MadelynBurke Um, none? Rodgers is an All-Time Great but his departure feels less like an All-Time Great than others who left before him...

@EyeLikeYaNeck @postcrabcore Joe Montana? There are other QBs I would rather not see before Brady. But the list is weird. No one would put Barry Bonds above Michael Jordan. Or LT. It doesn't really have what the criteria is but that stood out.

@zachmelloh26 Mike is 54. He can’t draw on his IRA without incurring a 10% early withdrawal penalty. His federal taxes alone on $180k would be $40k-ish. Mike likely doesn’t exist. Zach’s point however is valid. Those 401k’s you all have are not wealth. They are personal pension plans.

Mike retired at 54 with $ 4.1M. He had done everything “right”: • Maxed out his 401(k) • Saved consistently for 30+ years • Paid off his home • Avoided debt But:
