when held up against, say, Inner Mounting Flame by Mahavishnu or Close to the Edge by Yes or pretty much anything else their contemporaries were doing it very much sounds like a conventional 70s soft rock ballad. it's good, but not as experimental or interesting as they get credit for.

I want to throw a thought I just had out to you guys and see what you think: Do we care about leaked albums anymore? Like, back in the day, listening to an album before it was released was HUGE and bands always made a big deal about it. But now I feel like no one really cares.

@notesreviews Nowadays there are too many albums vying for my attention so I'm not as starved. I admit to attempting to find leaked albums as soon as I'd caught wind of them back in the day though. I had zero patience.
