@snow_white_75 @TheStoneFile @GOPMajorityWhip It needs to be Standard Time--Nature's clock. The whole of history has gotten up with the sun. Farmers, students, teachers, construction workers. Forced DST causes stress, sleep problems, aging issues and heart problems. The whole system slowly goes off course.

Daylight savings time is not healthy — darkness in the morning is not healthy for your circadian rhythm. The government should never have interfered with modifying it in the first place.
Most of the rest of the world is on standard time. Is Trump trying to screw everything up?

@SootLady @shagbark_hick Agree. Arizona is already bright and sunny for most of the year. But especially during summer, the heat and bright sun are endless and relentless. Standard Time offers relief, at least in AZ.

There's a reason AZ opted out decades ago. It sucks. It double sucks in the summer. We wait for the sun to go down and the temp to get lower - by "lower" I mean only 95 degrees - so we can go outside for a short walk or other outside activity before bedtime. The last thing the southwest needs is more daylight in summer.

I've got to say, if this happens it'd make me 10x more likely to move to Arizona.
DST is a nightmare. Those who are arguing in favor of synthetic, phony, unnatural "government time" are out of their minds.

Absolutely NOT! We tried that in the 70's. It was repealed in months. Just look at the sunrise times in the winter and it's a no brainer you don't want it. Give us our hour back in the fall and THEN lock it into permanent STANDARD time.
