@theHillisHome @BarrasReport A few weeks after the Jan. 6 riot, an officer displayed hate propaganda at an entry to the Capitol. None of this stuff is new to America--but puts (again) into perspective how one set of people is subject to the law in ways another is not. wral.com/capitol-police…

@theHillisHome About a mile away that, other adults (checks notes) bring weapons to the Capitol; assault police officers; enter without permission; vandalize the building; are escorted peacefully outside by police; and, after being convicted, are pardoned.

@Meagan_Flynn Years ago, the Post didn't cover when the charter board chair resigned bc of pressure for financial conflict of interest--uncovered by a Post investigation! The Post since then covered many DCPS scandals--but fewer around charters, all the while running op-eds for charters.

East Potomac is not just a golf course. On any given day you will find cyclists, runners, families picnicking, birders, kids fishing, and people just sitting by the water. The perimeter road alone is one of the great outdoor spaces in the DMV. The renderings eliminate all of it. (2/5)
