@spacetaxi Sounds real but can't really verify. The only local Mormon running was a judge and he was in the ward I attended. Ran before I could vote. Politics are discussed in church. I left when Mitt Romney ran for president. I never trusted the guy and it inspired introspection.

@Crypt0_Facts In philosophy, there’s the Phenomenon (reality as your brain filters it) and the Noumenon (objective reality). We can never access the Noumenon. Assuming your subjective brain flawlessly perceives absolute "truth" requires immense faith. We all use faith, I just admit it.

Look, I didn’t ask. For the last few days I’ve been hearing the most ignorant and insulting takes on my beliefs because even though we follow Christ, we can’t be called Christians because of a council 1,600 years ago. So frankly, you’re just piling on. You don’t care what I’m going through. You don’t care what is going on in the Church. Yet you expect me to care and inquire about why you left the Church. @StevenStubble @Spiltea It is encouraged to convert non believers. A fantasy among the youth to convert their partners. A mandate for your salvation. However, it does run a serious risk of having your kids leave the faith.
