@96Jpcr You've got a very realistic point. The arcade era is gone, but as a fan, I'd still buy it just to see beautiful 2D pixel art again. Maybe a modern MS8 could add new gameplay like unlockable gears, online co-op, or rogue-like modes to keep it fresh!

@erjitt A Metal Slug 8 would just be more of the same. It would be the kind of game you could finish in a single sitting. After all, those days of arcade machines where you had to spend coins to keep playing are long gone.

@ReaperBrutal To be honest, I was born in 2007, so I didn't live through the arcade era myself. My older sister actually introduced me to the game when I was a kid, and I've been a huge fan of the series ever since. To me, this is the absolute pinnacle of run-and-gun pixel art gaming.
