I would like to see New Jersey no longer stream the state wrestling tournament. I haven’t been in a very long time, but I hear attendance is starting to slow down. This was once the most electric sports event I have ever been to. And I’ve been to everything. If you want to watch it - buy tickets, see your old wrestling friends, have fun and give the wrestlers the 10k fans in the seats that I grew up with. No other state compared. It was special.

Pitching has not really been the main issue, though, has it? Unfortunately, other than Judge, we have watched a lot of young position players come through the system that invariably stall or regress in their development. That should not make you scratch your head because that is what we have witnessed for over a decade.

@CPyles8 The kids safety is all that matters, not your patience waiting for action. There is no other option. Would you want them to rush or do a “more expedited process” if your kid may have a concussion?

I’m obviously all for head safety and caution. That said, lengthy concussion protocol breaks are too disruptive to a match. If it requires leaving the mat to evaluate, it’s not safe to compete and the match should be over. What would be the counter to my suggestion?
