Today marks a milestone for me. I started to work out/get back into shape at the start of April and after 40 days of retooling my diet and lifting I’m down 30 pounds. I got 30 more pounds to go before my original goal, then my trainer and I might be cooking up something else.

One of the difficult aspects of doing ministry specifically in Washington State is that you have to be willing to let go of what many would consider non-negotiables. For example, owning a house. The majority of pastors out here are akin to missionaries.
