Moving to NYC saved my life. Those daily 12+ hours of bedrotting and doom scrolling while living in the suburbs have been replaced with going outside, long walks, talking to strangers, taking photos, drawing at parks... I feel like I’m 18 again (I’m almost 30)

I’m delighted to share that I have started my summer internship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center as a Strategy and Operations Intern. As a physician and MBA/MPH student, I’ve always been interested in the systems, processes, and decisions that shape how care is delivered.

As a VA my job isn’t just to fill a calendar. It’s to protect my client’s time. I also created a practice calendar for a fictional client. I’m still a beginner. But I’ll still showing up.

Day 8/30 of my VA challenge Today was all about Calendar Management. I learnt: - What calendar management actually means for a VA - The scheduling tools clients use (Google Calendar, Calendly) - How to manage a client’s calendar professionally

Emotional moment for me ❤️ My mother doesn't speak English She doesn't speak Hindi. She had never seen an airport in her life. But she came Mumbai to Switzerland 🇨🇭 Alone. No language. No one beside her. Just one thought.. "My son is there." When she arrived she didn't rest. She didn't unpack. She went straight to the kitchen. Puran Poli AamRas Bhaji In Germany. For me. I have learned German. I have built a life here. I think I have become strong. But today when I took that first bite I cried Because nothing I have achieved here is bigger than what she did to get here. She crossed the world without knowing a single word of it.
