🚨 JUST IN: Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin New Glenn rocket just violently BLEW UP in a jaw-dropping sight, reportedly in a static fire test ELON MUSK: "Most unfortunate. Rockets are hard." That explosion looks absolutely INSANE.

Elon Musk: "Success is uncertain, but entertainment is guaranteed!" You’re watching Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket explode on the launch pad. The rocket was fully fueled during a static fire test when it detonated, creating one of the largest rocket explosions in U.S. history This was supposed to be Blue Origin’s big SpaceX moment. New Glenn was set to launch Amazon’s LEO satellites next week, their answer to Starlink. But after exploding during a fully fueled static fire test, that launch is off, and the rocket is likely grounded while they investigate. It’s a massive setback, but rocket engineering is brutal. SpaceX failed many times before becoming the most dominant launch provider on Earth. Now the space industry is watching to see if Blue Origin can bounce back, or if SpaceX pulls even further ahead.

Elon Musk: “Nothing any of my companies have done has been to stifle competition. In fact, we've done the opposite, At Tesla, we have open-sourced our patents. Anyone can use our patents for free.  At SpaceX, we don't use patents. Once in a while, we'll file a patent just so some patent troll doesn't cause trouble. But we've done nothing anti-competitive.”

My thoughts are with all the Blue Origin employees. You guys have made such a beautiful launch vehicle and I can only imagine how hard it is to loose something you all worked so hard on.

Raptor 3 just officially flew for the first time on Starship Flight 12 and it’s an absolute masterpiece of engineering When SpaceX first revealed it, many people in aerospace really thought it was an incomplete render. They kept asking where the rest of the engine was Turns out… that was the full engine SpaceX eliminated so many external pipes, brackets, sensors, and components that it barely looked real It became the perfect embodiment of Elon Musk’s engineering philosophy: “The best part is no part” Raptor 3 comes with: • more thrust • higher efficiency • radical simplification • improved reliability • dramatically lower manufacturing complexity This was not just an upgrade. It was a complete rethinking of what a rocket engine can be Raptor 3 has officially raised the bar for the entire aerospace industry
