Russian troops surrendered to robots. Drones and ground bots took a Russian position without infantry and without losses on Ukraine’s side — Telegraph. Zelenskyy: For the first time in the history of this war, an enemy position was taken exclusively by unmanned systems. 1/

A retired lawyer in the U.S. was watching the news when he saw the story about the new Trump commemorative coin and something immediately didn't sit right with him. So he did what lawyers do. He went digging... And he found it. A federal law passed in 1866 that explicitly prohibits living people from appearing on U.S. currency. It's not a grey area. It's not open to interpretation. It's been sitting in the books for over 150 years. The last time this actually happened was 1926 when a coin featuring Calvin Coolidge was minted while he was still alive and serving as president. The backlash was immediate. The coins were pulled. And the law was reaffirmed... Now this retired lawyer has filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Mint not because of who is on the coin, but because the law says it simply cannot be done. Full stop... No political agenda. No protest. Just one guy, a dusty legal statute, and a federal case that nobody in Washington apparently saw coming

I’ve told this story before, but it still matters. I’m #Canadian. I’m a Senior Combat Medic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And before all of this, I had no connection to Ukraine. No family ties, no history here, nothing that would have made this personal from the outside. But it became personal the moment I got here. I am here because I chose to be. No one forced me, no one convinced me with words or headlines. I came, I saw, and I stayed because of the people. Ukraine is not an idea to me. It is not politics, and it is not a debate. It is the medic who keeps working after losing everything. It is the soldier who cracks a joke five minutes after incoming fire. It is the civilians who refuse to abandon their homes, their language, their identity. These people matter. Their lives, their freedom, their right to exist without being erased or rewritten by someone else’s narrative. I have seen their strength up close, and I believe in it completely. Nothing anyone says from the outside can change that. No commentary, no propaganda, no attempt to distort what is happening here. I know what I’ve seen. I know who I stand beside. I am here because Ukrainians are worth standing with. Because their fight is real, and it is just. And because once you understand that, truly understand it, walking away is no longer an option. #Support93 #SupportUkraine

Marie-Thérèse is 86 years old. Handcuffed. Wrists and ankles. Sitting in an ICE detention facility in Louisiana with roughly 70 other detainees. She has heart problems. She has a bad back. Her children in France didn’t know where she was for a week. Here’s why: Sixty years ago she fell in love with an American soldier. They lost each other. They found each other again. They got married. Billy was a retired U.S. Army colonel. Billy died in January. Marie-Thérèse had a green card application pending. Then there was an inheritance dispute with Billy’s son. Billy’s son reportedly called ICE. DHS called her “an illegal alien from France.” This is what we’re doing to the 86-year-old widow of an American veteran. What exactly are we protecting? #DemsUnited #Veterans

Former interim President of Israel Avrum Burg admits the truth. Trump's stupidity has resulted in Iran being the winner and Israel and the US the losers. It has also boosted China beyond what most people thought was possible. The damage Trump has done to the US is immeasurable.

I’ve been following this for weeks, and I think something fundamental shifted last week. Europe is quietly drafting a fallback plan to run NATO’s military structures without the United States. Air defense, logistics, Baltic reinforcement corridors. The full package. The Wall Street Journal has the details, but I’ve believed for months this moment was coming. Germany dropping its opposition was the turning point. When Berlin moves, Europe moves. I think that’s the single most important development in European defense this year. Rutte came back from Washington calling the alliance “more European-led.” He didn’t say much else about how the meeting went. Nobody did. Word is Trump was furious, complained throughout, and the whole thing went out the window before it started. My read: the U.S. is heading for the exit with its tail between its legs. Trump called NATO a “paper tiger” and threatened withdrawal over Europe’s refusal to back U.S.-Israeli operations against Iran. A 2023 law requires a Senate supermajority to actually pull out. But I don’t think the Europeans are waiting to find out. They’re not asking Washington anymore. They’re planning around it. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

Did you hear Zelensky's Easter message, recorded from Kyiv's Saint Sofia, a church older than Moscow? He began by quoting the words of the 11th-century Oranta inscription behind him: “God is in the midst of the city; it shall not be moved.” The Oranta, a depiction of the Virgin Mary with arms extended in prayer over the city of Kyiv, is one of Ukraine's most sacred symbols. "Christ is risen," Zelensky, and the First Lady responded, "He is risen indeed." Zelensky called for a day when "winter and all evil will retreat from our land."

CNN Diplomatic Editor Nic Robertson confirms the Trump administration's total diplomatic collapse. They are now relying on Pakistan's Field Marshal Asim Munir to fly to Tehran and act as a desperate middleman to beg Iran for peace. Washington has completely lost control.

Sup. Com. of Sweden, Claesson: Russia is not 10ft tall. It’s their favorite tool to make us believe that they are. If Russia would make a true military assessment, they know they would lose [to NATO]. That leads to a hybrid warfare to exploit vulnerabilities in our societies. 1/
