what's a good beginner FBT setup? Genuinely curious, i'm using an Index kit for reference .

@Mage_afterdark mm alright, definitely good to know. i just want smth simple to setup honestly so i can pose better for photos and for when i start doing vids down the line, or even just being on vr normally lol. what's a decent amount though? 3 or should i look into more for better tracking?

@JinxysVR I don't recommend the ultimates Definitely look into the setup required for those as it's more than the 3.0/Tundra As those are camera based and track themselves so you need good lighting

@Mage_afterdark i was thinking moreso just ease of setup. everyone tells me vives but i see videos. so i'm thinking of just getting vives honestly, not sure between ultimates or 3.0 though.

@Mage_afterdark no clue and honestly too late to check i deleted the project out of rage months ago cus i spent so long on it and i refused to redo the entire fbx in blender for the fifth time.

@JinxysVR Sounds like the hair maybe still had its own armature? Idk anyrate blender/unity can be so frustrating

I adore ppl who can work on avatars. I tried once with booth stuff and i ended up ragebaiting myself for a month straight before giving up.

@Mage_afterdark idk it was like it looked fine and was attached but once in game, the hair and hat wouldn't stick to the body. they wobbled around stiff af and didn't turn. they just kinda floated off on their own.

@Mage_afterdark mm i was doing stuff in blender with assets i had gotten from a patreon i used to be on to make an avatar for visiting a rave club i go to in vr, but ended up crashing out cus the hair/hat wouldn't attach properly despite everything i did rip that FBX project.
