Sadly we lost a lot of our established trees at school in the recent storms. However, we are trying to save as much as we can and use them to benefit our Forest School. Today P2 created some colourful bark rubbings @NIForestSchool
🤝🤸🏼♂️ Week 6 Finale: Twinning in Bangor again … 🎉
This morning, the team reunited the pupils of Kilcooley Primary School and Clandeboye Primary School for the second time in our Twinning Programme for @ANDborough 🌟
Held at Clandeboye PS, the morning was packed with team-building activities, promoting positive good relations, and enjoying sport in each others company, common themes throughout the 6 weeks🏅
A special mention to the Good Relations Team at Ards and North Down Council for funding and to the players from @bangorfc who stopped by to inspire the pupils — ⚽👏
As we finish this cohort, we look forward to replicating the programme in the new year in Newtownards with West Winds PS & St. Finnians PS 🙌

🤝🌟Twinning in Bangor & Newtownards! 🌟🤝
We’re halfway through our first cohort of the Twinning Programme, supported by the Good Relations team at @ANDborough 🙌🏻
This week, the sport-led initiative brought pupils of Kilcooley PS and Clandeboye PS together in Bangor, as they discover how sport can help deliver a positive message of unity and inclusion. Through fun physical activities that promote teamwork, pupils are breaking down barriers, building friendships, and gaining a better understanding of our similarities but also recognising our differences. 💬💛
In January, we will also be running the 6 week programme with St. Finnians PS and West Winds PS in Newtownards - and also bringing the schools together on weeks 3 & 6 🌍🤝
Stay tuned for more updates 🫶🏻
