Engineering Wednesday – It is truly tragic what is happening to our Indian friends right now. Have you seen the posts? Apparently everyone is casting shade on them for absolutely no reason. The entire world seems to have turned against them at the exact same time. Over 246,00 Indians were deported from 81 different countries in 2025 alone. Saudi Arabia led the way with over 11000 followed by the UAE Malaysia and yes the United States. For those keeping track ..they are #1. Even countries like Canada Australia and Japan once welcoming are tightening rules on Indian students and workers. Indian advisors are losing influence in Western governments. The global tolerance for mass Indian migration appears to be collapsing. How unfair. How historic. Never before has the entire planet coordinated so perfectly against one group just as their exodus reached record highs. So many groups out there and yet India seems to be the one facing the music. Poor India. They send their best and brightest abroad and suddenly everyone is intolerant both the left and the right. So strange. Of course the reasons are never discussed in polite company. There are rumors that include : Overstays, visa fraud, proxy interviews, IP theft cases, fraudulent credentials, self dealing in banking, real estate, business and the sheer scale of replacement labor appear to have finally created real pushback. We know that couldn't possibly be it though. Perhaps countries are simply protecting their own workers wages and security the exact same way India does, after decades of open doors. In the meantime lets all pretend it is some mysterious global wave of bigotry instead of the predictable result of sustained abuse of immigration systems. Did I say that out loud? AT LEAST I USED MY INSIDE VOICE ...oh wait. The pattern is recognized but politicians are still cashing their checks. When one country's migration becomes too aggressive and low trust the world eventually responds. India is learning this the hard way right now. Question for folks willing to speak up on this senstive topic: Do you think the global crackdown on Indian migration is unfair persecution or the natural consequence of years of system gaming? What advice would you have for them to reverse course? Drop what you think.

Entire blocks look like they belong in the Middle East — Arabic signs, Islamic flags waving openly, and religious displays that turn the town into an open-air Islamic zone for weeks on end. Dearborn no longer looks like America.
