On était sans nouvelle de No Straight Roads 2 depuis quelques mois, mais le Summer Game Fest a permis de découvrir un tout nouveau trailer du prochain jeu du studio malaisien Metronomik, lors du Southeast Asian Games Showcase. Une vidéo qui est d'ailleurs accompagnée de nouvelles informations sur le retour de Bunk Bed Junction et sur la suite du voyage musical qui attend Mayday et Zuke.
En fait, cette nouvelle bande-annonce met surtout en avant un nouvel arc centré sur Vanessa Lyte et son émission “Vanessa’s Hi-Lytes”, qui documente en direct le chaos provoqué par la destruction du Grand Qwasa. Ses fragments, dispersés à travers la péninsule, servent de point de départ à une nouvelle aventure pour Mayday, Zuke et Casey, désormais lancés dans un road trip musical pour les récupérer.
