Sokka was done so dirty by the writers. Born without bending in a world full of benders, he was the only non bender on an elite team packed with prodigies. He lost his mom to the Fire Nation, lost his first love to the Fire Nation, and in the end, he had no kids, no wife, and seemingly no lasting legacy😮‍💨😮‍💨 He deserved better😐

How Aang Died. The 100yrs Aang had spent in the iceberg while in the avatar state drained much of his life energy. This was after he had consulted Avatar Roku. Aang assigned the Order of the white Lotus to search for the next Avatar and protect her at all cost. Aang died at the age of 66, meaning he was supposed to live for 166yrs but spent 100yrs in the iceberg. Aang was later reincarnated into the body of a strong-headed, & rebellious child in the family of CHIEF Tanraq of the Southern water tribe. The white Lotus, numbered amongst them was Councilman Sokka(katara's brother). He died fighting against the Red Lotus just to protect Korra so that the Avatar cycle can continue.
