I’ve been called racist and islamophobic hundreds of times today for outlining Restore Britain’s policy on banning halal slaughter, the burqa, sharia law, cousin marriage and plenty more. I want to be really clear about our party’s official response. We do not give a shit.

If you have not watched the halal slaughter video, I urge you to find it on my page or Restore Britain’s profile. Watch it and digest it. To treat animals like that is pure evil. No other word for it - evil. Animals writhing around in their own blood, having been stabbed in the neck. Strung up alive, whilst the blood pours out of their wound. Thrown around. Tortured. Desperately trying to escape whilst the men laugh and joke. Butchered alive. The fear that these poor animals must suffer through as they bleed to death. I feel sick watching it. This is happening to millions of animals - millions and millions. I refuse to eat halal or kosher meat. I will not do it. I use my local butcher because I don’t trust the supermarkets to properly label it. I will take every possible step to ensure that I am not supporting this evil industry in any way. I urge you all to do the same. Evil is the right word. I don’t care if Muslims or Jews get offended. This is Britain and we do NOT treat our animals like this. Of course a slaughter is an unpleasant process. We all know that. But the British do it in a way that is quick, humane and reduces unnecessary suffering. I am proud to lead a political party that would remove those religious exemptions on day one. Restore Britain will do exactly that. Reform have said they won’t, the Tories won’t ban it. Labour obviously not, nor the Greens. Restore Britain will. We will ban halal and kosher slaughter. I promise you that.

Islam should not receive any special privileges in Britain - whether that's slaughter exemptions, an 'Islamophobia tsar', blasphemy laws, parallel legal systems or whatever else. Certainly no special rules for defining Islamophobia - all religions should be open to mock, criticise and insult. That includes Islam. Quite frankly, we have already done more than enough to accommodate Islam and that needs to be reversed. Restore Britain will do exactly that. Halal slaughter banned, cousin marriage outlawed, sharia courts made illegal. The burqa and the niqab will not be welcomed on our streets. We will not change our way of life or tolerate intolerable practices. That is a choice. We will just not do it. There is finally a political party that holds the courage to do what needs to be done. Restore Britain.

In a country run by a Restore Britain Government, there would be no halal slaughter and there would be no kosher slaughter. If the British people elect Restore Britain, the religious exemptions are removed on day one.

I wanna buy churches like this that are shutting down across England. So if you know a church that's for sale and potentially closing down, let me know. I wanna buy a church. I don't care if it's got planning permission to return to flats redeveloped. I don't care. I wanna buy it. I don't care how profitable the conversion will be. If it was built as a church, I believe it needs to stay as a church. I want to save churches like this one from being shut down and sold off to developers all across the UK. I love making profit in property, but when someone's being built as a church to honour Jesus Christ, that's a no no. There's revival coming in England and we need to keep our churches open. Earlier this week in our inquiry, I sat across from a woman who was raped and abused by ‘hundreds and hundreds and hundreds’ of men. All Muslims. Mostly Pakistani, some Kurdish, some Indian. She was transported all over Britain, like a piece of meat. When she was 12, she was raped. Not only raped, a glass bottle was forced inside her. It shattered in her body. A 12 year old. For a moment, think about a 12 year old close to you. She went to hospital. No questions were asked. She told the police. Their response? ‘Nothing I can do about that.’ They asked if the rapes were consenting sex. She didn’t even know what consent meant. Please just think about that. So many knew, and did nothing. How? How can such evil be tolerated? How? The woman is furious. Furious that in 2026 we’re still having this conversation, still trying to get people to talk about it. We are trying to change that. The way she conducted herself in our hearing was remarkable, such grace and courage. She has rebuilt her life - simply incredible bravery and resilience. Why did she want to tell her story at the inquiry? She said if she can save one soul from going through the same fate, then she’s ‘done her job’. ‘Just one’ child she told the inquiry. She has certainly done that.
