Seeing Woody Harrelson present this, followed by that massive hug with Christopher Lloyd... my heart completely melted. Michael J. Fox isn't just a cinematic icon; he is the absolute definition of courage, grace, and an unbreakable spirit. To see the entire industry stand up and give him the love he deserves is beautiful. A true hero on and off the screen. Happy 65th Birthday to a living legend. What's your favorite Marty McFly quote or memory?

Great Scott! Today we are officially celebrating 65 years of a true Hollywood titan, a pop culture icon, and an absolute inspiration: the legendary Michael J. Fox! Looking at this incredible artwork, it’s impossible not to get hit with a massive wave of 80s and 90s nostalgia. From the neon lights to the unforgettable characters, he didn't just star in the definitive movies and shows of a generation—he gave them their heartbeat. Michael J. Fox has always possessed a completely unique, infectious appeal. He mastered the art of the charming, fast-talking, relatable underdog. Whether he was playing a high schooler out of his depth or a sharp-witted professional, he brought an unmatched kinetic energy, effortless wit, and deep sincerity to every single frame. Let's talk about these incredible characters: Marty McFly (Back to the Future): The ultimate time-traveling, guitar-shredding teenager. The red vest, the DeLorean, the sheer panic of trying to save his own existence—Marty is easily his most popular, universally loved, and culturally definitive role. It’s a flawless performance that still feels just as fresh and magical today as it did in 1985. Alex P. Keaton (Family Ties): The role that started it all! Fox took a briefcase-carrying, Young Republican teenager and somehow made him completely endearing, hilarious, and the absolute focal point of a massive hit sitcom. Scott Howard (Teen Wolf): Who else could turn becoming a hairy, howling werewolf into the ultimate high school popularity hack? He made surfing on top of a delivery van and dominating the basketball court look like the coolest thing ever. But as incredible as his acting resume is—including brilliant runs in Spin City, The Secret of My Success, and The Good Wife—his greatest legacy isn't behind a camera. The tagline on the tribute says it best: "The past, the present, and the future... he mastered them all. Still our hero." For decades, his fierce optimism, grace, and relentless advocacy through the Michael J. Fox Foundation have changed the world. He has shown us what true courage looks like, facing life's toughest challenges with a smile and an unbreakable spirit. Happy 65th Birthday, Michael J. Fox. Thank you for the memories, the laughs, and the lifelong inspiration. You will always be a legend. What is your absolute favorite Michael J. Fox movie or moment?

There’s a person somewhere who still cuts flowers from their garden and puts them in a glass on the kitchen table. Not for guests. Not for social media. Just because life feels better when something beautiful is nearby.

A group of us went out to celebrate a friend’s 25th birthday. There were eight people at the table. Before we ordered, I made my situation clear. I said, “I’m trying to save for a house down payment right now, so I’m only getting an appetizer and a soda. Can we do separate checks?” A few people laughed, and the birthday girl said, “Don’t worry about it. We’ll just split the bill evenly at the end.” I wasn’t thrilled about the idea, but I didn’t want to start an argument before dinner. As the night went on, several people ordered expensive steaks, cocktails, and desserts. The birthday girl and her boyfriend also ordered two bottles of wine that cost more than what I planned to spend all week. Meanwhile, I stuck to exactly what I said I would order: one appetizer and a soda. When the bill arrived, it came to around $900. Someone quickly did the math and announced, “Looks like it’s about $112 per person.” I looked at the receipt and said, “That doesn’t work for me. My food was about $22. I’ll pay for what I ordered, plus tip.” The birthday girl got upset and said I was being cheap and making things awkward. I didn’t argue. I got up, walked over to the manager, asked for my individual items, paid my portion with a tip, wished everyone a good night, and left. Later, my phone was full of messages. Apparently, everyone else had to cover the difference, and some people were angry that the final amount per person ended up being higher than expected. A few friends said I should have just paid the extra money to keep the peace. Maybe. But I don't think it's reasonable to expect someone who ordered the least at the table to help fund everyone else's expensive choices. I went out for dinner, not to subsidize someone else's luxury bill.
