Today marks 14 years since Baton Rouge rapper Lil Phat was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Georgia hospital at just 19 years old. 💔
Investigators later alleged the murder was part of a murder-for-hire plot connected to a robbery, drug-related disputes, and GPS tracking data from a vehicle Lil Phat was driving. Multiple people were eventually convicted in connection with the case.
Despite his life being cut short, Lil Phat’s music and legacy continue to be remembered by fans across the South. 🕊️

Big30 is reportedly being released from federal custody ahead of his upcoming trial, according to his attorney. The Memphis rapper had been held for months in Dallas as part of the federal kidnapping and robbery case involving fellow rapper Pooh Shiesty and several co-defendants.
Prosecutors previously argued that Big30 was a flight risk, leading to his bond being revoked earlier this year. However, a judge has now ruled in his favor, allowing his release before the trial begins in July.

Federal prosecutors have reportedly released surveillance photos and court documents that allegedly show OTF Dede and Vonnie inside an In-N-Out restaurant shortly after the fatal shooting of Quando Rondo’s cousin, Lil Pab, in Los Angeles.
According to the filing, investigators claim the men were seen ordering food and laughing together less than an hour after the shooting. The images are now being cited as part of the government’s case connected to the ongoing federal investigation involving Lil Durk and alleged OTF associates.
