Been staring at this ER walls for 6 hours! No working TV+my phone won't last the night. On top of that, they need to admit me NOW for a kidney stone surgery on Monday ☹️ Please post something fun or uplifting. I need some good vibes very badly!

@ChicagoRGamer Yeah the line about this film has been "it has an empty story so it sucks" I mean geez, it's a movie about Super Mario Bros, the story was never 'anything' and that was fine. Great technical flexing (just gorgeous design) and lots of steady callouts for us old-school-heads, haha

@HeadcaseGames I agree! I had heard beforehand that critics were pretty harsh on it, but honestly it was fun, entertaining, and had some good call outs of earlier games that I appreciated. Fun film altogether. Cheers!

New Super Mario movie was fun. Story was all over the place, but it was still entertaining & had plenty of great game references. It's made for a fun time for kids, not to be a front runner for adaptation. Do you remember what we got in '93? Haha #SuperMarioGalaxy #MarioMovie

Doesn't really look like much in 2026, but back in the day this felt absolutely futuristic to have playing on your television at HOME.

@benljbrooks @NESFans1 Not a good game, in hindsight, but at the time, in those very early NES days - this was actually kinda fun & playable, for what it was! I rented it a few times.
