In a partial win for Trump and after Trump called his allies cowards, Starmer has okayed the use of its bases for the US to launch strikes, targeting the Strait of Hormuz. It doesn’t matter how the UK dresses it up they are now complicit in Trump’s war crimes.

Starmer’s decision risks repeating the mistakes of Iraq, and follows Donald Trump down a slippery slope. While Badenoch and Farage cheer this on, it is British households who are paying the price.

Watching the news it breaks my heart seeing the children who are terrified. What are we as human beings doing to these innocent children. it’s an absolute disgrace what is happening to these children who have done nothing to deserve this. I honestly don’t know how leaders on any side can sleep at night knowing what they are doing. Shame on you all.

The Green MPs and Peers have written to Keir Starmer to urge for an end to the UK's involvement in the US and Israel's illegal war. Under international law, the UK is obliged to have no involvement in illegal military action, including the use of UK bases and UK-made weapons.
