The problem with this game isn't the enforced regional Dex, it's the fact more than half of the Unova Dex is a Kanto Dex trope/equivalent beyond the typical regional bird/bug.

@GSiry52182 I felt this when I transitioned to the Switch games. I have a USUM Living Dex up to #807, but to transport it I would have my Pokémon held hostage in a yearly subscription service. That shit doesn't fly with me.
It was fun to complete the Dex in Arceus and ZA tho

While they are not good remakes, they are by far the best Pokémon games on the 3DS.

@GSiry52182 The best way to play them IMO is by having a hacked 3DS that allows you to apply the smoothening patches. But even then the lack of skippable cutscenes destroy any replay value in those games.
Ironically, when it comes to the Pokédex, they did what the Dex cut should have been.

@twanandersen Yeah, I get it. I havent fully played SM or even touched USUM because something always happens but I hated no Nat Pokedex on SM or how the camera can be a disaster when taking pics of Pikachu.

@GSiry52182 Those are very fair points, this isn't me obviously saying ORAS is flawless (I detest the way you are constantly offered to be teleported, how Lati@s is gifted to you so early, amongst other decisions), but out of the four 3DS games it's the only ones I could see myself replaying

@twanandersen Theres also too many transitions that werent in RSE like from Oldale to R 102 theres a black screen that totally cuts emersion for me, aside other things. Might sound minor and it has its good moments but I expected pure grandiosity. Then you see it was dev in a year or so. 2/2

DP Sinnoh gets all the bad rep for it, but this game also doesn't have a good distribution of Fire types. It's the Torchic line, the purposely slow Slugma/Numel/Torkoal lines and then Vulpix shows up in Mt.Pyre with such rare odds most people aren't even aware of it.
