I got into crypto in 2019, doing small Web3 jobs. Nothing glamorous. Just small gigs, learning the ropes, making a little money here and there, and meeting people in the space. Back then everything felt exciting, like we were all early to something big. At least that’s what I thought. At some point I trusted the wrong people and lost most of my money in a presale scam they ran. People I had considered friends. I was still new to crypto then and didn’t really understand how brutal this space could be. Eventually I managed to recover during the NFT run. Some NFTs I held did well and I made my money back, even a bit more. After that I went back to doing Web3 jobs and had a few decent wins too including five figures from Chill Guy and a couple of small 2x plays. When the NFT wave cooled down, I stepped away from crypto for a while to focus on real life. Later, when the Telegram meta started buzzing, some friends told me about Notcoin. I gave it a shot, made about $500, and started trying some of the trending airdrops. Some paid dust, some paid a little more, but it kept me around the ecosystem. Before most of my real-life issues even started, crypto had already hit me hard. My first wallet hack was the worst. It wiped out a huge portion of my funds and pushed me into debt, because at the time I was still trying to maintain a lifestyle I didn’t really have the money for. Later I got hit again, losing about $11,000 in another hack. It wasn’t as big as the first one, but it still hurt, especially since I was trying to rebuild. I also lost the profits I had gotten from the Hyperliquid airdrop. I still had some funds left in my trading wallet because I had been leverage trading for a while. Trading helped me stay afloat for a bit, but during one of the big market downturns I lost that capital too using leverage. That one was on me. Around that same time I was also trying to build some stability in real life. I bought a car, then land. A few months later the land got caught up in legal issues involving government seizure and foreclosure complications, and resolving that drained a lot of money. Then my health issues started. Medical treatment isn’t cheap. There were moments where I was close to having nothing left. At some points the only reason I could keep getting my medication was because people helped crowdfund for me. At the same time I was also dealing with things like account suspensions, which made it difficult to claim rewards I had earned from platforms like Kaito. It often felt like every time I tried to get something going again, another door closed. When I look back at everything the scams, hacks, market losses, and legal issues the damage across the years is well into six figures. And through all of this I’m still dealing with real life responsibilities, including taking care of my younger sibling. So when people message me saying I’m proud, stingy, or that I don’t deserve to win in crypto, it honestly just feels exhausting. People online only see fragments of someone’s life. A tweet here, a moment there. They don’t see the full picture. I’m not a crypto idolo. I’m just another person in this space trying to figure things out like everyone else.

Most people argue about the future. Few actually price it. That’s where prediction markets come in. I’ve been exploring @futuurHQ and it’s honestly one of the easiest ways to turn your opinions into something that pays. Think about it: → Will your favorite team win? → Will AI models outperform each other? → Where are interest rates heading? → Who wins the next election? On Futuur, you don’t just guess you take a position (YES or NO). And the best part? The odds move in real time based on what people are actually betting. So you’re not relying on vibes… you’re reading live market sentiment. As a sports lover, this hits different. You’re already watching the game now you can back your conviction and earn while you’re at it. But it’s not just sports: • Crypto • Politics • Finance • Entertainment • AI Hundreds of live markets. They even have a free play-money mode so you can test your edge before going in with real funds. No pressure. Just signal. I used to think prediction markets = gambling. But this feels more like trading information. If your read on the world is sharp, why not put it to work? → futuur.com → Sign up (Google / wallet) → Pick a market → Back your thesis Simple. Welcome to where opinions meet money.
