Last week, my post about Boomer life drew some ire from young people who feel we "destroyed the world and their future." (But lots of fellow Boomers liked it!) So for the young people. Here's a peek at life before the late 70s. The life you DON'T have because of us. 🔹Women were often stuck in secondary roles (you could be a nurse but not a doctor). 🔹Employers could deny a woman a job because “she might get pregnant,” and many had to quit when they did get pregnant. 🔹Birth control was restricted or illegal in many places under the Comstock Law. 🔹A husband couldn’t be arrested for beating his wife; it was a “civil matter.” Marital rape wasn’t even a crime. 🔹Women often needed a male relative to co-sign for a bank account or credit card. 🔹Black Americans in the South lived under Jim Crow. Even after it was outlawed, change was slow. 🔹Gay people could not be openly gay or get married. 🔹Information was scarce. You had to access a big library or buy expensive books. No pulling info up on your phone. 🔹Acquiring skills meant finding someone willing to teach you in person. No YouTube or no AI. 🔹Drive by a river and you’d see pipes dumping bright orange or green factory waste straight into the water. Some toxic landfills were so bad, nothing has ever grown there again. 🔹Heart attack? Often a death sentence. No stents. No pacemakers. 🔹Young men could be drafted and sent to war against their will, then come home to a country that called them baby killers and spit on them. Here's the thing. Hate Israel all you want but one thing is absolutely, abundantly clear after the rescue of the American pilots and as this war has proceeded: No other ally in the world today actively assists the US as Israel does. 🚨BREAKING: ICE agents illegally rammed a U.S. citizen’s car, dragged him out, hospitalized him, and then handcuffed him to a hospital bed with no charges… AGAIN. This is the same man they targeted back in October, when I shared a video showed ICE ramming his car, and the lying about a crash they caused. Now they’re doing it again… In the video, ICE agents, in unmarked vehicles, blocked his car and rammed it while he was trying to leave… They used their vehicle as a weapon to force stop a U.S. citizen, AGAIN. They smashed his window, dragged him out, and threw him to the ground, even though he wasn’t resisting. But it gets worse… They then took him to the hospital, and kept him handcuffed to a bed, while masked “federal contractors” stood guard with no identification, no charges, and no explanation. His lawyers tried to reach him and were physically shoved and denied access. Detaining someone without charges, denying access to an attorney, using force without justification, and operating without identification, are violations of basic constitutional rights. And the hospital went along with it… Allowing unknown men to keep someone restrained without verifying who they were, or why he was being held. And if this sounds familiar, it should. The first time this happened, in October, ICE tried to claim he caused the crash, and video proved they were lying. Now, they’re escalating against the same target, and still no accountability. He’s a U.S. citizen. They rammed his car, detained him without cause, blocked his lawyers, held him in a hospital like a prisoner… and then released him with no charges, because there were none. That’s the system they’re building… one where the law doesn’t matter, your rights don’t matter, and they can injure you, detain you, and walk away like nothing happened.

"The PA Is Moderate" - A Claim That Doesn't Survive Contact With Their Own Content Every Friday - "Juma Mubaraka" (Blessed Friday) - Palestinian Authority official media, mosques, and social channels flood with a consistent message: Jaffa is ours. Haifa is ours. Beer Sheva is ours. We will return. This isn't Hamas. This is the PA. The entity the international community keeps calling "moderate" and wants to run a future Palestinian state. Here's what people who make that claim need to reckon with: 1. Official PA television repeatedly broadcasts songs declaring "Jaffa, Acre, Haifa and Nazareth are ours" - naming cities deep inside sovereign Israel, not in the West Bank. 2. Senior Fatah officials say it plainly. Fatah Central Committee member Tawfiq Tirawi stated on Lebanese TV: "Don't you dare think there is even a single Palestinian who would agree that Haifa, Jaffa and Acre are not Palestinian. No. Haifa, Jaffa, Acre and Nazareth are Palestinian, despite the Americans and the Israelis." 3. PA children's programming tells kids that all of Israel is "the '48 lands" and that "all of this land belongs to us... and will return to us." This isn't fringe content. This is the official PA children's show. 4. PA textbooks (2025-2026) still show maps where Israel simply does not exist. The entire area from the river to the sea is labeled "Palestine." Tel Aviv doesn't appear. Israel is referred to as "the Zionist entity." A 10th-grade Islamic education textbook asks students: "Under what circumstances is jihad to liberate Palestine considered a personal duty for every Muslim?" 5. Even crossword puzzles in PA newspapers list Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Tiberias, and Haifa as "Palestinian cities." 6. PA sports coaches tell young athletes that "today we are Jerusalem, Haifa, Jaffa and Acre... today we are the Palestinian entirety." This is not about the West Bank. This is not about settlements. This is about Tel Aviv, Haifa, Beer Sheva - cities within Israel's pre-1967 borders. The PA signed a letter of intent with the EU in 2024 promising curriculum reform. The EU sent over 400 million euros based on that promise. An independent review found that as of late 2025, zero reforms had been implemented. So the next time someone tells you the PA is a moderate peace partner that just wants a state alongside Israel - ask them a simple question: If that's true, why does every piece of their own media, education, and political messaging tell their people they're coming back to Jaffa? The difference between Hamas and the PA isn't the goal. It's the timetable.
