All Because She Asked for ₹160 Back 📍Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Reshma Bano (48) was a widow who ran a tiny grocery stall just to keep her visually impaired son Shadab (18) alive. Her neighbour, Kishan Rawat, owed her ₹160... a debt she kept asking him to repay. She never imagined that asking for her own money back would get her and her son killed. Rawat allegedly got drunk, entered her home under the pretext of returning the money, raped and strangled Reshma... then hunted down her blind 18 y/o son who tried to save his mother, strangling him and drowning him in a water tank, placing another tank over the body to hide it. Police tracked Rawat down days later. He opened fire, injuring a constable. Officers shot him in the leg and arrested him. A rape charge was later added based on the postmortem report.
