A near-mythical Bugatti.
Conceived during one of the most ambitious chapters in Bugatti history, the EB112 redefined what a luxury performance car could be. Developed from the advanced architecture of the EB110, it paired a carbon fibre chassis with a front-mounted 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V-12, all-wheel drive, and a six-speed manual gearbox. It was a bold departure, a four-door fastback that carried the spirit of the marque’s grandest creations into the modern era.
Styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro, its design drew directly from Bugatti’s past. The horseshoe grille returned with presence, the split rear window echoed the Atlantic, and its proportions balanced elegance with intent. Inside, a restrained and finely detailed cabin anticipated the philosophy later seen in the Veyron, blending craftsmanship with understated luxury.
Only three examples were ever completed. This car, the last of them, was finished for Gildo Pallanca Pastor and retained for his personal use before passing to just its second owner. With only 388 kilometres recorded, it stands as a singular opportunity to experience the only modern Bugatti saloon ever built. Register to bid at bit.ly/4ta5aui #RMMonaco

**Rare Road Cars**
Ford Escort RS Turbo Series 1 - Princess Diana’s car
1 of 1
The car just sat here in a car park minus its tow eye cover, if only it knew then it would go onto be the most sought after Series 1 on the planet.
Factory Customization:
Ford Special Vehicle Engineering painted it black and replaced the standard three-slat grille with a five-slat, non-turbo grille to blend in, aiding in a "stealth makeover".
Security Features:
It was fitted with a second rear-view mirror for the protection officer in the passenger seat and a radio in the glovebox.
Usage and History:
Diana drove this car from 1985 to 1988, frequently driving it herself around Chelsea and Kensington.
Auction Record: In August 2022, this specific car (registration C462 FHK) was sold by Silverstone Auctions for £650,000 (£722,500 with fees).
Owners
After Princess Diana finished using her black Ford Escort RS Turbo Series 1 in May 1988, the car had several subsequent owners:
Geoff King:
A manager at Ford Motor Company, who purchased the car in May 1988 for his wife to use.
Kiss FM:
The car was given away as a prize in a September 1993 competition on the radio station, where it was won by a Miss Jones of Essex.
Jeff Windsor:
Purchased the car on November 1, 1994.
Mark Bailey (Bonkers Collection):
In 2008, the car was purchased by a collector of Ford RS vehicles for £40,000 which at the time was £20,000 more than a regular mint White RS Series 1
Private Collector/Auction Buyer:
The car was sold at a Silverstone Auctions event on August 27, 2022, to a buyer in Cheshire for £722,500.
