@yotama9 It sounds like you have set the 'Keep downloads' either in the app Settings > Downloads or in the individual podcast Settings. You can go to the app Settings > Downloads to set 'Keep downloads' to keep all downloads and then apply the charge to all podcasts.

@castrepublic think you answered this before, the highlight color on new episodes has changed to something indistinguishable. How do I reset it?

@AaronQuantz The app now can use any color to generate the theme color on the fly instead of a few preset color themes. This makes it difficult to fine tune the appearance for each generated theme. Thanks .

@wenowangz You are not using the stock Android. Your device manufacturer has customized the media player notification to look like the legacy media player notification. Anyway, good to know you've figured that out.

@castrepublic I thought that was weird since I am on Android 16 but I figured out the problem, I had too many options selected. Now its fine

@castrepublic I don't rly use the car play feature so I'd like the option to hide the icon and also swap these ones since the chapter button also isn't as important to me. Sorry I'm sending too many tweets but I swear I love ur app been using it for almost 3 years now

@wenowangz Anyway, you can already add the favorite button to the notification through the app Settings > Notifications > Playback controls.

@castrepublic hey dev do you intend to add more complex themes/color schemes like this in the future? (I hate using other apps as example but don't worry all P.C. got going on is aesthetics, you're still the goat)

@FrozenTweeter Or you can go to the app Settings > Downloads to toggle off and on the option 'Delete the download' when the episode is 100% played and then apply the change to all podcasts.

@FrozenTweeter Please open the podcast Settings of that specific podcast and then double check whether the option 'Delete played episode' is enabled.

@castrepublic Hello. New phone setup: "Delete the download" when 100% is selected, but they do not delete. Is there a 2nd selection needed?

@Lilzenalt Thanks for the bug report. It sounds like your WiFi has blocked the connection to that specific podcast server. If you can, please double check the firewall setup on your WiFi to allow the network connection.

@castrepublic I'm having an issue with a podcast. It's not downloading the episodes via my wifi. All other podcasts work fine. This one used to work, but over the last couple months has now stopped downloading on my wifi. It will work when I drop wifi and go to mobile.

@DrunkenKun Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, since Android 12, Google decided to hard coded the Next/Previous actions into the media player notifications if the app supports the Next/Previous actions. The workaround is to remap the action through the app Settings > Media player.

@castrepublic suggestion: would love to see a fast forward (instead of next) button in Android Auto when the app is minimized to the bottom or in side by side mode.

@SafamSings Please create a backup of the app data from your old phone through the app Settings > 'Backup & restore' and then restore from that backup file from your new phone. Please check out the FAQs coming with the app for details. Thanks.

@castrepublic troubleshooting here - I merged to a new phone, and it appears that even though I've been listening since 2023 on the old phone (I've used your app LONG before that), I never signed in. Is there a way to keep my history from the old phone on the new device?

@H_Twatter If you are on old Android 12 or below, you have to set the language inside the app. Open the app, go to the Profile tab (people icon) on the bottom navigation bar, press the Settings button on the title bar, then select the first setting item on the list and the first item again

@H_Twatter Are you on Android or iOS? For iOS or Android 13+, you can go to the system settings, find this app in the apps list, go into the app Settings to change the app language option there.

@SlammerMaster Thanks for the bug report. Please go to the app Settings > About to enable the Debug option. Then, please try adding the podcast RSS feed again to reproduce this issue. After you have the issue reproduced please go to the About page to use the 'Report a bug' to send the log.
