Being an adult feels like, “If I can just get through this week, I’ll be okay.” But it’s every damn week😭😭

Ex-Blockbuster employee here. And I mean it with 100% sincerity that the world would be a better place if we shut down all streaming services, re-opened Blockbusters and video stores worldwide, and shoved people back out into the world to find and enjoy their entertainment.

My therapist once told me: “Get good at bouncing back. A rough conversation, a bad day, a skipped workout, a choice you regret, none of it has to ruin the rest of your week. You can reset whenever you decide to. You can't change what happened, but you can choose how long you hold onto it”.

What a boring planet.... no fairies, no elves, no mermaids, no dragons, no vampires, no werewolves… just bills, stress, gossip, and insufferable people.

The older I get, the more I realise.. Happiness is quiet mornings, paid bills, a safe home, and people who don't stress you out. Period!
