What's so sad about these content creators is that they play on the fact that a large majority of people on this app don't read; they click on clickbait headlines. The Ovo clothing brand used ARI to expand its offerings beyond its Ovo fanbase. Drake paid for ARI what he owes; he paid 3 million through one of his other companies. Ari says they owe a make-a-whole fee, which is a charge a borrower pays when making a loan. They are also in new negotiations with a new company, Authentic Brand Group, since they are done with ARI. They are not going broke; they are expanding their clothing brand. Ari claims they still owe 4 million, but Ovo is pushing back on that. Again, they aren't going broke. I know this app has many college-educated people on here, but not everyone is ignorant. You don't have to be college-educated to understand some things when Google is free.

So long story short, Drake and OVO (Oliver & 40) took out a loan from A.R.I. for $5.2 million last year against the OVO brand but defaulted by only paying a partial payment of $3.8 million back to A.R.I. They allegedly still owe A.R.I. $4.6 million (which includes fees and interest) while trying to sell 50% of OVO to ABG to begin worldwide licensing to save the company which has been operating at a loss since 2022 amounting in a $12 million deficit according to A.R.I. They took the loan out with promissory notes to repay but only paid a portion and are now refusing to pay anything else because they feel the debt has been repaid even though the initial loan was more than the $3.8 million wire transfer they sent to A.R.I. A.R.I. filed its lawsuit in the Supreme Court of British Columbia
