I wonder if any recent court cases have raised the idea that the UFC's business is built upon practices that were used to monopolize boxing in the past?

Major difference is that within MMA the UFC is essentially a monopoly. No one promoter in boxing controls remotely enough of the talent to be considered close to a monopoly.

@RepMcGarvey You’ll have to explain to me how gutting the protections in the original Ali Act while allowing promoters to operate like the UFC, whose fighters are suing them over suppressing wages to a fraction of that in boxing, a step in the right direction? Seems like a gift to Ari Emanuel
