You might notice that all of the comments are very recent. That is because the official IDV account is deleting the comments speaking against AI. I saw this person make this same comment about an hour ago, and it had about 150 likes. But it keeps getting re-deleted

For Palestinians who use paypal: I was #told there will be upcoming changes to PayPal policies required by a new Israeli law that will start in June of this year. Anyone in “Israel” that exceeds a per-transaction amount (send or receive) or receives more than a certain amount in six months will be locked out of their PayPal account & lose access to their money unless they upload Israeli ids & do a facial recognition scan. Also if they receive money from most arab or Muslim countries directly to their PayPal. I’m trying to spread the word so people in Gaza know to be careful & to split up transactions & avoid receiving money from the wrong people.

Obviously when poc have this sentiment it comes from a place of genuine hurt + annoyance at how little the community cares for us. But I mean this in the kindest way possible white people try to stay in your lane 😭😭

Respectfully I’m seeing a lot of white people at least on tiktok say “why are you guys boycotting now idv’s *been* racist” and I’m not entirely sure if I like that sentence coming from white people ( who continue to play the game ) instead of actual poc who’ve been calling out-

These issues for *years*. It isn’t our fault we were unable to get the community to listen to us, and now we finally have an opportunity for people to care. It also feels like moreso a “gotcha” and a reason to not boycott now instead of actually caring about racism and poc

Another important thing in this whole protest and stuff is to ADMIT WHEN YOU'VE MADE A MISTAKE. You NEED to be open to this and you have to immediately tell everyone if you mistook a real artwork, character writing or name as AI! Please correct yourself and be more careful 🥺
