Llevamos solo una semana de vuelta, pero ha sido una semana de pruebas médicas, exámenes físicos y científicos… No hemos tenido ni un solo momento de descompresión. Ni un segundo para reflexionar de verdad.» «Y cuando el Sol se ocultó detrás de la Luna durante el eclipse… los cuatro nos miramos. Me giré hacia Victor y le dije: “No creo que la humanidad haya evolucionado lo suficiente como para comprender lo que estamos viendo en este momento.”»

Welcome home Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy! 🫶 The Artemis II astronauts have splashed down at 8:07pm ET (0007 UTC April 11), bringing their historic 10-day mission around the Moon to an end.

"Wow! It's amazing!" – Artemis 2 astronaut Victor Glover describes a solar eclipse as the Moon passed in front of the Sun during the Orion capsule's lunar flyby.

One last look at Earth before we reach the Moon. This view of the Earth was captured on April 5, the fourth day of the Artemis II mission, from inside the Orion spacecraft. The four astronauts will reach their closest approach of the Moon tomorrow, April 6.
