A useful reminder of Farage, Russia, Nathan Gill; all the more useful because, once again, the British news media have swept the issue of Farage's ties to Russia under the carpet. The fact that the leader of the party leading the polls was promoted by Russia and has faithfully served Russia's interests doesn't seem to concern them the least.

Even if Labour lost 1,200 council seats, they’d still have around 4,600 councillors across the country. People acting like Labour disappears overnight are living in fantasy politics. Parties lose local elections, regroup, rebuild and come back fighting stronger. Politics swings. That’s democracy.

Reform UK Ltd have bought what's called a "jacket" - 4 pages of advert that go round the actual paper. They seem to have done it across the country. We can see where that £5million for "security" is going.

No matter the results May 7th, no one can make me think Keir Starmer isn’t a class PM. The moral integrity & decency of that man is inspiring. He has precious traits I rarely see in people with power. He’s been unfairly attacked by many, but that will never change his calibre.

I've been saying this for years - big money political donations subvert democracy and are gateways to corruption. They must be made illegal and classed as the corrupt purchase of political influence, an offence carrying long mandatory jail terms for all involved.
