1987 to 1997... what an era. Pure gold! How do you create 13 games in a row that are all great and wonderful in their own right? It's like LucasArts had a cheatcode for adventure games❤️ Try to pick a winner from that list... tough!

@exQUIZitely I remember it quite well. LucasArts had already produced two other high quality adventure games before this. Zack McKracken and Maniac Mansion. Great writing, characters and gameplay! Monkey Island raised the bar.

One of the best intros of an era. One of the best games of all time. I often use the word "soul" when I compare old games to new ones - and this one is absolutely bursting at the seams with it Graphics: 10/10 Music: 10/10 Gameplay: 10/10 In 1990, The Secret of Monkey Island was light-years ahead of anything that had come before it. It didn't just look a little better - it completely moved the goalposts. Remember the first time you saw the intro? I thought I'd never see a better game. This one holds a very, very special place in my heart. So, you want to be a pirate, eh? You look more like a flooring inspector.

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT, As I turn 43 this year, I have realised, as a man, no one cares about you. Not your wife. Not your family. Not your friends. Not your workmates. Nobody. People act like they care, but deep down, they don't. You are on your own. Always on your own.

@DavidFischer As a Jew I was willing to question what I was told. An intellectual approach landed me squarely on Yeshua. My family thought it was a phase. That phase has lasted 38 years. 🙏

As expected I’m being mocked about sharing part of my testimony last night. I’ll say this, I don’t care. Mock all you want, from my Jewish heritage to my conversion to Christ, I am exactly who God has called me to be.

@ColaOSofficial I see it now, but I don't see where it tells me what my $100 top up will get me. Besides a little sass.

@joelcomm Sorry you're having trouble with this! The recharge option should appear in Settings after updating to the latest version. Could you give that a try? Let me know if it's still not showing up.

@Fireproof_Games I enjoyed it in VR, but I think the Room series has more interesting puzzles. I found Ghost Town to be very easy.

@bariksis I’m good either way, but true capitulation is when people say they are done with crypto forever. We didn’t get there

*Bitcoin drops $40K in 20 days back in Feb* Bears: “WE HAVEN’T EVEN SEEN CAPITULATION YET!” Hard to blame them. The crash from $126K to $60K happened so quickly and so violently that we basically front ran the entire bear market in 4-5 months. I have news for you bears. We already saw capitulation. We dropped from $98K to $60K in literally three weeks. Bitcoin dropped $15K within 2-3 days from $75K to $60K If that isn’t capitulation then I have no idea what is. Bears will be waiting on $50K for the rest of the year, and it’ll never come. Most of them know that already, they just won’t admit it…

How unusual. I am doing some pretty complex stuff with code and it seems to be working pretty well. I’m also on the $200/month plan, working the system hard, paying about $10/day for API consumption and not running up against any limits. How to explain this disparity in experience?

I’ve been astonished at how badly @claudeai has degraded over the past week. - After two prompts in a conversation, it tells me I have reached my limits for this turn. (I’m on the $200/month Max plan.) - It tells me it doesn't have access to a tool in my connectors. If I insist that it does, it finally acknowledges that and proceeds. - It forgets basic instructions that worked fine yesterday. These are in the same Cowork project. - Then, of course, there are the frequent system outages like we experienced yesterday. I really hope at @AnthropicAI can get on top of this. I really love Clot when it works, and I have actively promoted it to my customers and followers.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 Saturday afternoon. I closed my laptop and stared at the wall. I’d spent five straight days—sick, medicated, running on stubbornness—trying to get OpenClaw to work. And I had literally nothing to show for it. Not one working automation. Not one useful output. Just a $600 bill and a cold that was worse because I’d spent the week hunched over my computer instead of recovering. I’m not alone in this. A developer on Reddit spent four days on setup and described it as a gauntlet of OAuth configurations and silent failures. Noah Kagan said he spends 80% of his time just keeping it online. One user on the OpenClaw Discord summed it up perfectly: “It was fun, but I’m just gonna wait.” The technology is impressive. But “impressive” and “practical for your business today” are two very different things. aibusinesslab.ai/dont-install-o…
