Ludicrous that the #2 and #3 Green candidates on my regional list advocate for a policy of rapists and murderers walking the streets rather being locked up behind bars. Scotland needs a progressive justice system, detention must always play a role for the most serious offences.

Scotland needs change.

The Scottish Labour leader’s promising to block Glasgow City Council proposals for a congestion fee if he wins May’s election. Anas Sarwar tells me it wouldn’t be fair to charge people to enter the city for things like hospital appointments.
