Istanbul, Turkey: a coordinated shooting attack targeting the Israeli consulate unfolded earlier today, resulting in the death of one attacker and injuries to two Turkish police officers. The assailants, armed and operating near a security checkpoint, engaged in a gun battle with police before being neutralized. Crucially, no Israeli personnel were inside the consulate at the time due to the Passover holiday.
