At the request of the Russian government, @Apple removed numerous VPN services from the App Store - tools that had allowed Russians to bypass censorship. A remarkable stroke of luck for Putin to have such “friends” in Big Tech. Over the past few years, Russian authorities have blocked millions of websites, including independent media and opposition platforms. VPNs are now one of the few remaining ways for Russians to access truthful reporting on current events. Yet Apple has chosen to assist state censorship in Russia.

Today, Ukraine marks the fourth anniversary of Bucha’s liberation from Russian occupation.
On March 31, 2022, the world saw the true face of russ people - not “victims of the regime,” but people who, after years of propaganda, became a cold-blooded killers, rapists and tortures. In Bucha we saw an execution of men, women, children, and elderly with their hands tied behind their backs and bullets shot in the back of their heads.
Do you know what the Kremlin said when the footage from Bucha was released? “It was staged.” And most Russians still believe it. There is no critical thinking in the aggressor country.

When Bucha was liberated, the whole world finally saw the true face of russia. Mass graves filled with executed civilians, bodies of people shot on the streets and left to rot, children and adults alike, destruction, rapes, robbery. This is the reality of russian occupation.
Today, we remember the victims. The world must remember what russian occupation truly brings before pushing Ukraine to surrender any more land.

‼️URGENTE El artista y preso político Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara fue amenazado de muerte el viernes 27 de marzo de 2026 por jefes de la Sección 21 de la Seguridad del Estado durante una visita en prisión. Le dijeron que, ante una posible intervención militar en Cuba, vendrían con una AKM a matarlo. Luis inició el 26 de marzo un ayuno de 12 horas diarias que debía terminar el 31 de marzo. Sin embargo, tras estas amenazas, decidió comenzar hoy 30 de marzo una huelga de hambre de una semana, hasta el 6 de abril. Solo tomará agua. Esta es también una manera de alertar contra una nueva jugarreta del Estado cubano para no liberar a Luis en julio de este año, cuando su condena se cumple íntegramente. #FreeLuisma ‼️ URGENT Cuban artist and political prisoner Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara was threatened with death on March 27, 2026, by officers of State Security (Section 21) during a prison visit. They told him that if there were a military intervention in Cuba, they would come with an AKM to kill him. Luis had begun a daily 12-hour fast on March 26, scheduled to end on March 31. Following these threats, he decided to escalate and began a full hunger strike today, March 30, which will last until April 6. He will only drink water. Tonight here in Bucha, we are holding a night of remembrance.
561 civilians were killed here over 33 days of fighting and Russian occupation. Across the entire territorial community surrounding the city, more than 1,000 people died during that time.
Hundreds were shot by Russian soldiers, and the bodies of many lay in the streets and against walls for weeks, until Russia's defeat and the return of Ukrainian forces to the city, along with the global media.
And the name of this comfortable, prosperous suburb of Kyiv among the woods became a shocking symbol of atrocity and inhumanity, images that went around the world.
This is the church in the center of Bucha, next to which a mass grave of 67 bodies was found. During the occupation, people buried their dead as best they could -- like this, in a pit beside a church.
Every day I can see that church from my home in the distance, and every time, I remember how we were present at the terrible exhumation of that enormous grave. That's something I would want to forget forever.
A memorial complex now stands on that spot.
