Microchips, vaccinations and licensing will be offered in our auditorium (8929 Fort Street) on Saturday, March 14, beginning at noon. There is a lot of demand, so please arrive early and be patient. Dr. Ostle of Caring for All Pets will be operating the clinic as supplies last!

After driving to NHS, they confirmed this was their Muffy, who had been gone for 15 years! ❤️ At NHS, we understand life happens and pets get loose. Please get your pets microchipped like Muffy so we can more easily reunite you. We even have the perfect upcoming opportunity!

15 years ago, Muffy snuck out of the house. Her family was heartbroken. A few days ago, the family received a call: a cat with a microchip and the name Muffy was at NHS. With that large of a time gap, the family justifiably thought it had to be a mistake.

Arkansas Green Been and Catfish Fingers have something to announce! Shucks is hosting a benefit for NHS on Tuesday, March 3! 20% of proceeds will be donated back to the shelter that day at all three locations. 😻 Thank you so much to Shucks for doing this two years in a row!

The Nebraska Humane Society will be closed on Friday, Jan. 23, due to the dangerously cold temperatures. Animal Control Officers will still be responding to emergencies. Please be extra cautious, both for yourselves and your pets!
