So when American Christian Zionists cheer on wars to rebuild a physical temple, they are funding the theological rejection of their own Saviour. A rebuilt temple doesn’t prepare for Christ’s return. It denies his first coming. It says the sacrifice wasn’t enough. The resurrection didn’t count. Zionist Christianity isn’t a fusion of two faiths. It’s the abandonment of one in slavery to another.
