A Dutch consumer foundation has sued Netflix for between 420 and 673 million € over subscription price hikes.
The group claims that increases of up to 75% since 2017 were implemented without sufficient transparency or clear justification, violating EU consumer laws and affecting millions of subscribers.
The comes after Netflix lost a similar case in Italy last month, where a court invalidated all price rises from 2017 to 2024 and mandated refunds of up to 500 € per customer.
lawsuits like this are also advancing in Germany.

NEW: Los Angeles mayoral candidate Nithya Raman fumes over candidate Spencer Pratt's campaign ad where he showed up outside of her home.
In his ad, Pratt ripped Raman and Mayor Karen Bass for not living in the mess they created.
"This is where Mayor Bass lives. Notice something? Or here, where Nithya Raman’s $3 million mansion sits. They don’t have to live in the mess they’ve created," Pratt said.
Raman is now accusing Pratt of being "reckless."
"Filming outside my home, where I live with my young children, feels unnecessary and reckless," she said.
They're mad because he is telling the truth.

These dogs are tethered on Skid Row. The owner got the dog to sell for $25. We have rescued multiple maimed dogs from this corner. We brought officials. They said "it doesn't matter if we take these dogs, they just get more". Then the officials did the worst thing. They left.

I just got this video. A pregnant pit bull on Skid Row. This guy is on drugs and he said the “owner is very mean to the dog”. This dog will die. I’m at a shelter now and not near there but can anybody take this dog if we can get?

Karen always likes to talk about HER experience and never YOUR experience in her city…stepping over homeless drug addicts having your, business tagged up every night, no street lights. If she is so experienced with governance, why is she so bad at governance? What does that say about all of her illustrious experience? I actually care more about YOUR daily experience in LA. I have all the experience that I need. I have experienced the consequences of Karen Bass’ failed leadership. All of us have. She needs to step aside.

Wow. The LA registrar is blocking Palisades Fire victims from voting for Spencer Pratt. Many are sheltered in rentals outside of LA City, and they’re being sent ballots without the option of voting for LA Mayor, despite retaining their Palisades lot as their primary residence.
